Bedarra Island Transfers
Guests can arrive or depart from Bedarra with the following options:
- Launch to/from Mission Beach
- Helicopter to/from Mission Beach
- Helicopter to/from Cairns Airport
Please be aware that helicopter transfer availability is limited, so please confirm availability with us prior to booking your stay or airline flights to/from Cairns.

Our transfers are scheduled to link with domestic flights from most Australian capital cities. If your flights to/from Cairns do not exactly connect with our transfer times, please contact us as occasionally we have some flexibility in our scheduling. Unscheduled transfers can also be arranged outside these times (for an additional charge).

Launch Transfers
Launch Transfers depart from our office at South Mission Beach, where we also have a lounge, amenities, refreshments and off-street parking available.
The launch transfer is a 20-30 minute scenic journey through the Family Islands Group before arriving at Bedarra.
Helicopter Transfers
Helicopter transfers are available to Bedarra from Mission Beach or directly from Cairns Airport.
A helicopter transfer offers a spectacular and exhilarating way of arriving at or departing from Bedarra.

Mission Beach
Mission Beach is a beautiful coastal village located a scenic two hour drive south of Cairns, and is best reached by self-drive hire car or private vehicle transfer.
Helicopter and launch transfers depart from our office at South Mission Beach, where we also have a lounge, amenities, refreshments and off-street parking available.
Our mainland office is located at 2 Commodore Street, South Mission Beach.
Our reservations team can arrange private vehicle transfers on your behalf, or can make recommendations for one-way vehicle hire options if required.
